The Ghost Car of Los Santos!
Los Santos citizens got into the spirit this Halloween with costumes, city-wide decorations, and events around the spookiest time of the year. However, it seems that a spirit may have gotten into Los Santos along the same timeframe! Shortly after a city-wide flood, people started to experience paranormal events all surrounding a yellow oldie-style vehicle. From many citizen reports, it appears as though a ghost has inhabited this vehicle. I know the following testimonies may be hard to believe, but remember that JBTV only brings the HARD FACTS! These are real testimonies from your fellow citizens.
I ain't afraid of no ghosts...Hehehehehe Boris has your car.
It was another typical materials sale with JBTV’s own Vice President Charley Abernathy and Boris of Los Santos Customs. While they were finalizing the details and prices, a yellow car slowly drove onto the scene, seemingly with no driver. Charley assumed the same anyone would: this is one of those auto-driving cars that are starting to become popular. However, there was no reason for it to be here, so Charley went to park it in a nearby spot. Then, the unexpected happened. The car started slowly reversing, then started driving around randomly, as if enraged! Charley had to perform a combat roll just to escape its clutches and tried to warn Boris not to go near it.
Boris, however, was not about to let this car cause trouble in front of his place of business. With a hearty ghost busters reference, Boris jumped into the car and immediately knew there was something wrong. He believed there may be something called a demon-eo driving it. So, using some quick movements, Boris seized control of the car. Thinking it would leave if he were able to ridicule it enough, Boris drove the car in circles, mocking the ghost, telling it that its car was his now. That is when things went very, very awry.
It caused me to fall out of the car, roll around in burning agony, and get very, very tired...
While Boris drove the car around, he noticed the distinct smell of burning rubber, and it was not just coming from his donuts. Looking out the side mirror showed that his tires had caught on fire, a lightning bolt had struck the car and covered it in blue embers, which proceeded to go straight through the roof directly into his “ushanka”. He describes the sensation as his body being filled with “burning hellfire”, which caused him to fall out of the car, roll around in burning agony, ultimately resulting in him passing out as the door shut and the car started to drive away.
In addition to this harrowing tale, Jett Black’s adoptive parents Samantha and Terrance Credulous of the Spurious Star had actually managed to communicate with the ghost, most likely due to their spiritual nature. Pitying the trapped spirit, Samantha and Terrance tried to perform an exorcism on the car. Unfortunately, this seemed to scare the spirit as it started driving away and honking its horn twice every few feet or so. They were, unfortunately, not able to keep up with the car on foot for further questioning.
After going through the alphabet multiple times, it spelled DEAD!
A similar harrowing event happened to another one of JBTV’s own, an investigative journalist by the name of Sebastian Mountebank. He tells us he was abducted by the ghost car as he was investigating the strange vacant vehicle. However, being one of Los Santos’ best journalists, he saw the opportunity in this. He started asking the ghost questions in ways it may be able to communicate, with one honk for ‘yes’ or two honks for ‘no’. Using this system, he went through the entire alphabet until the spirit had indicated ‘yes’ for the letters D.E.A.D. He asked if it had a message it wanted to tell, to which an ID appeared with the name Edward Carson, born on January 1st 1977, and not yet expired. Finally, the car stopped, the door open, and it was indicated that Sebastian was clear to go, obviously because he understood that JBTV is here to help the people!
Other run-ins with this ghost car have included a Ranger that was apparently kidnapped for a short period (We believe it to be Ranger Winters due to some posts on LifeInvader asking how to defend himself from a ghost, but we have not been able to get him in for questioning), and a garage worker at Pit Stop garage who claims the ghost is his new best friend after the car pulled into his garage one day.
If you have any more information on the origination or the wherabouts of this ghost car, or Edward Carson if that is the spirit’s true name, then please reach out to JBTV via our contact forms at the front desk of the Weazel News building!
